75g unsalted butter
50g Cadbury Bournville
2 medium eggs
175g Self raising flour
25g Cadbury Bournville Cocoa
1 tsp baking powder
175g Muscovado sugar
450g icing sugar
5-6 tbsp water
45g Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons
MethodPreheat oven to Gas 4, 180C, 160C Fan oven
Make the mix
1 - Line a muffin tin with paper cases.
2 - Melt butter and Bournville chocolate in a bowl over simmering water.
3 - Remove from heat and whisk in eggs and milk..
4 - Stir in the sugar, flour and cocoa powder, then add the baking powder.
5 - Mix everything together gently – careful not to over-mix!
Bake the mooffins
1 - Fill the cases half full and bake for 15-18 minutes or until well-risen.
2 - Cool completely on a wire rack and turn off the oven.
Make the splodges
1 - Place a piece of greaseproof paper on a baking sheet or tray.
2 - Add Cadbury Dairy Milk Buttons and place the tray in the turned-off oven for 1 minute to melt the chocolate.
3 - Remove from the oven and use the back of a teaspoon to shape your buttons into cow patches. Place in the fridge until the chocolate has set.
Ice and decorate
1 - Sieve the icing sugar and gradually add water until it’s as thick as treacle.
2 - Spoon icing over the cooled mooffins.
3 - Leave to set for 5 minutes.
4 - Carefully place your cow patches on the mooffins and leave the icing to set.
5 - Enjoy your deliciously decorated moofins!
